Hangrybot collects the following information to provide our health tracking services:

Account Information: Email address, name, and profile picture
Health Data: Food photos, fasting times, nutritional preferences, weight logs
Apple Health / Health Connect: If you connect them, we read only the activity types you authorize (on Android: steps, exercise, active calories, and BMR)
AI inputs: Food photographs and coach-chat messages sent to a third-party model for nutrition estimates and coaching replies
Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, crash reports
Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide AI-powered food recognition and nutritional analysis
Track intermittent fasting progress and statistics
Enable social features and friend connections
Improve app performance and user experience
Send important service updates and notifications

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase/Google Cloud services with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. Android subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing; iOS subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

With your explicit consent (e.g., sharing with friends you add)
To comply with legal obligations
To protect our rights and safety

Access, update, or delete your personal information

To delete your account and all associated data, email support@hangrybot.com (no app required), go to Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account in the app, or visit our Data Deletion page.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request account deletion at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Hangrybot is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes through the app or email.
